Three Kenyans are among the ten finalists competing for a share of a 195 million Kenyan shilling grant at the 7th African Business Heroes (ABH) Summit finale.
The Kenyan entrepreneurs include Wycliffe Onyango from Buupass, Jane Kuteli from Fortune Credits Limited, and Abraham Mbuthia from Uzapoint Technologies Limited.
Zahra Baitie-Boateng, Africa Managing Director of Africa’s Business Heroes, stated, “Our Top 10 finalists represent the very best of African entrepreneurship, spanning sectors such as agritech, fintech, health innovation, and sustainability.”
Each year, ten exceptional finalists are selected to receive a share of Sh195 million in grant funding, with the top winner receiving double that.
In addition to the funding, finalists gain exclusive access to training, mentorship, publicity, and a vibrant network of like-minded African business leaders.
The event will take place over two days in Kigali, Rwanda, on December 12-13, 2025. During the ceremony, the finalists will deliver live pitches to a panel of judges, leading to the announcement of the winners and the awarding of the grant.
The 2025 ABH Grand Finale follows the 7th ABH Semi-Finals, which were held for the first time in Dakar, Senegal, on September 10-11, 2025.
The Top 10 finalists for 2025 were selected from a pool of 20 semi-finalists after two days of live pitches and evaluations in Dakar.
