The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has suspended 62 PSV drivers from seven transport operators after a compliance review uncovered serious safety violations.
The worst-affected companies include Tahmeed Express (23 drivers) and Latema Travelers Bus & Safari (13 drivers).
Suspended drivers must undergo mandatory re-testing, while operators are required to conduct road safety training and present vehicles for inspection, the authority insists.
NTSA says the crackdown is part of broader efforts to enforce safety standards during the festive season.
