Meta has acquired Limitless, a Denver-based AI startup known for its pendant device that records, transcribes, and summarizes real-world conversations using artificial intelligence.
However, the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
“We share this vision, and we’ll be joining Meta to help bring our shared vision to life.” Dan Siroker, CEO of Limitless, said in a blog post.
The acquisition marks a significant step for Meta in integrating AI-powered wearables into daily technology use.
Limitless’s team will join Meta’s Reality Labs wearables division, where they will apply their expertise in conversational AI and wearable technology to future products, including the Ray-Ban smart glasses.
The AI pendant acts as a searchable memory by capturing and summarising users’ interactions.
However, following the acquisition, Limitless stopped selling new pendant devices on December 5, 2025.
Existing customers are guaranteed at least one year of free support and can export or delete their data under updated privacy policies.
Founded five years ago and formerly operating as Rewind, Limitless raised over $33 million from investors like Andreessen Horowitz and OpenAI co-founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman.
